Biography
2009-10: Averaged 7.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in his first year with the Rams...named Honorable Mention All-RRAC...led the team with 47 blocks...reached double-figures in scoring 11 times and double-figures in rebouding 11 times...notched seven double-doubles...scored a season-high 16 points to go with 10 rebounds in a win at Southwest (2/15)...recorded a season-high 13 rebounds on two occasions...notched 13 points and 13 rebounds in an RRAC Tournament win at SAGU (3/4)...recorded 14 points and seven rebounds in an NAIA National Tournament win over Central Methodist (3/17).
Prior to Wesleyan: Played two seasons for head coach Mike Davis at the University of Alabama at Birmingham...played in 22 games, including four starts as a sophomore in 2007-08...shot .459 from the field while averaging 4.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game...played in all 31 games, including seven starts, as a freshman in 2006-07...shot .423 from the field while averaging 4.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game...had a career-high 15 points and nine rebounds against Florida (12/30/06).
High School: Played for coach Tim Miller at God’s Academy...rated among the top 50 prospects in the country coming out of high school and was ranked as the No. 5 recruit in Texas and the No. 18 power forward nationally by Rivals.com...rated as the nation's No. 4 post-graduate prep player by Scout.com...averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and five blocks as a senior...signed with Oklahoma out of high school, and after being released from his National Letter of Intent, chose UAB over Texas, Nevada, and Auburn.
