Casey Moses

Casey Moses is in his first year (2026) as an assistant baseball coach for the Texas Wesleyan University Rams, returning to his alma mater where he was a standout player. As a former Rams shortstop, Moses earned two Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Gold Glove awards, was named to the All-SAC team twice, and contributed to the team's SAC Regular Season Championship during his playing career.

After his playing days, Moses built a strong coaching resume focused on player development across junior college and NCAA Division II programs. He began as a volunteer coach at Chaffey College (2018-2019), helping the team to a 24-16 record and sending five players to Division II and three to Division I. He returned to Chaffey as pitching coach (2022-2023), guiding the Panthers to a 28-14 overall record and a dominant 21-3 conference mark, with standout Braden Hofmeyer earning Conference Player of the Year and All-American honors, plus six pitchers advancing to Division I and five to Division II.

At Long Beach City College, Moses served as infield and hitting coach in 2021-2022 (post-COVID), leading the Vikings to a 29-14 finish with a .295 team batting average and Conference Player of the Year Matthew Pinal (a two-way talent), as four hitters advanced to Division I. He rejoined LBCC for 2023-2024 in the same role, achieving a 30-15 record, a .316 team average, and a school-record 102 stolen bases, with Conference Player of the Year Luke Davis (later drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies) and four more hitters moving to Division I.

Most recently, Moses coached infielders and hitters at Biola University (2024-2025), where the Eagles made history by qualifying for the Division II playoffs for the first time, finishing 26-27 with a .314 team batting average and .402 on-base percentage, earning four All-Conference selections and two All-West Region honors.

With his extensive experience in developing talent and achieving team success at multiple levels, combined with his deep roots in the Texas Wesleyan program, Moses is poised to make an immediate impact as he helps continue the Rams' tradition of excellence in NAIA baseball.
