Prior To Wesleyan: Played two seasons for head coach Mike Martin at Eastfield College...went 2-4 with a 4.36 ERA in 10 appearances during his sophmore season...struck out 27 in 31.0 IP....posted two wins with a 6.32 ERA and 17 strikeouts as a freshman in 31.1 IP.

High School: Played for coach Cody Ross at Kemp High School.

Personal: Michael Scruggs...born June 9th, 1990 in Kemp, Texas...son of Edward Scruggs...has three brothers...majoring in Exercise Science.
