Biography

2014: Played and started 52 of 53 games in his first season with the Rams...batted .342 with a HR and 35 RBI...ranked second on the team with 66 H's and third with 10 2B's...led the team with 10 multi-RBI games and ranked second with 19 multi-hit games...batted .368 during a season-best 9-game hitting streak (2/16-3/4)...closed the season by hitting .387 in his last 15 games with 12 RBI and 14 R's...in the season finale against SAGU (3/4) he went 4-for-6 with a 2B, a grand slam, 5 RBI and a school record 6 runs scored.

Prior to Wesleyan: Played for head coach Ray Birmingham at the University of New Mexico.

High School: A two-time All-Conference selection for coach Matt Guterez at Gilbert High School...named All-State as a junior...won the Don Mattingly World Series with the Angels Scout Team in 2009.

Personal: Born Tyler Kamtz on Nov. 18, 1991, in Loveland, CA...son of Jeff and Kristen Kamtz...has one sister, Karlee...is majoring in mass communications.
