Colton Rhine is entering his first season as the offensive line coach and fourth season working with the specialists.  

Last season, Rhine assisted with the defensive line and special teams units and had three all conference players.  

During the 2022 season he assisted with sophomore Jaysen Price who earned accolades such as All-American, conference athlete of the year, and first team all-conference as a returner, along with punter Greg Blaser earning second team all-conference, and Armando Benitez receiving honorable mention accolades as a freshman.  

Rhine also helped coach a defensive line that produced 31 sacks, 68.5 tackles for loss, and contributed to the defense's overall success, allowing only 14.8 points per game. He helped in guiding three defensive linemen to all conference honors with Kobe Adams receiving first team all-conference, Sir Hill receiving second team all-conference, and Shaun Tolbert receiving honorable mention.  

With special teams, and the defensive line combined he assisted with five conference players of the week, and helped guide the Rams to their first conference title since the program’s revival in 2016. 

In 2021, his first year as a student coach, Rhine assisted Coach Rosas with linebackers and Coach McClain with the long snappers. 

In 2020 he was recruited to play offensive line and long snap. After facing repetitive injuries, he moved into coaching.
