FORREST GARNER | DIRECTOR OF EQUIPMENT / OL COACH
Forrest Garner enters his first season with the Rams as the Offensive Line Coach.
Garner comes to Texas Wesleyan after spending 3 years at Campbellsville University (NAIA) in Campbellsville, Kentucky as the Offensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator as well as one season serving as the Defensive Line Coach and Defensive Run Game Coordinator.
During his time at Campbellsville University, Garner helped mentor an Offensive Line that produce an average of 200 rushing yards per game from 2020-2022 and helped boost his Center, Lane Bottoms to earn All Mid South Conference Honors.
Prior to his time at Campbellsville University, Garner served as H Backs and Tight Ends Coach at University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky from 2018-2020. While at Cumberlands, Garner helped coach the Patriots’ Offense to produce 44 PPG (#1 MSC, #5 NAIA), 437 YPG (#1 MSC), 263 Rushing YPG (#2 MSC, #5 NAIA). In 2018 Garner helped mentor H Back Austin Ysidro to earn All American and All Mid South Conference Honors.
Garner is a 2017 graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida where he was a member of the Fire’s inaugural football team. While playing at Southeastern, Garner was a 4 year starter on the Offensive Line at Center and received All Conference Honors.
Garner is a native of Bay Minette, Alabama and a graduate of Baldwin County High School. In 2012 he was selected to play Center and Long Snapper in the Alabama-Mississippi All Star Classic.
