Kyle Cox is in his third season (2020) as Offensive Coordinator after serving as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator in 2018 under Head Coach Joe Prud’homme.
In 2019, Cox's offense produced 32.9 points and 355.3 total yards per game, ranking 26th nationally in scoring offense. The team also ranked 30th nationall in first downs per game, 35th in passing offense and 38th in total offense yards per game.

Cox came to Texas Wesleyan from TCU where he served as a Graduate Assistant Coach. During his four seasons with the Horned Frogs, TCU’s offense broke over 30 school records, won a Big 12 Championship (2014), the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl (2014), the Valero Alamo Bowl (2015), and ranked in the top-five for both scoring offense and total offense each year.

At TCU, Cox coached a variety of positions including Receivers, Offensive Line, Tight Ends, Fullback, Running Backs, and Special Teams. He coached seven All-Big 12 players, one All-American, and five NFL Draft picks including Washington Redskins’ 1st-round draft pick Josh Doctson.

A Dallas native, Cox was a standout defensive lineman at Trinity Christian Academy where he graduated in 2011. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in education (2015), as well as a master’s degree in liberal arts (2016) from TCU. Kyle and his wife Adrianne married in January of 2017 and currently reside in Fort Worth.
