Marcus VanBuren serves as an assistant defensive backs coach under head coach Joe Prud’homme.

VanBuren attended the University of Arkansas Monticello after being named an NJCAA All-American at Highland Community College in his freshman season. He also ran track at Highland.

He is a product of West Monroe High School (LA) where he was an All-State selection at defensive back and returner. At WMHS, he was also named to Dandy Don’s top-100 players in Louisiana.

VanBuren resides in Grand Prairie with his wife, Cierra, and two children Braylan and Chloe.
