Coach Lee has coached football and track & field in Texas since 1980. His coaching resume includes three state Track and Field championship teams: Trinity Christian Academy 1999, 2000 (TAPPS 5A), and DeSoto High School 2016 (UIL 6A). He has coached all 17 events at the high school level. He has had sprinters, hurdlers, throwers, jumpers, and distance runners compete at the state meet level. His teams have won several district championships in Texas (1999, 2000, 2010, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
He grew up in Oklahoma City and competed in football and track and field at Southeast High School. He competed in track and field at the University of Central Oklahoma in the 400m Hurdles and threw the Javelin. He worked as a graduate assistant at The University of Texas in Strength and Conditioning under strength and conditioning legend Dana LeDuc (1998-1990).
He also coaches the punters and kickers for the Ram football.Â
