Tony McClain rejoined the Rams as the Special Teams coordinator & Defensive Line coach in November of 2020 after a stint at University of Texas Permian Basin.
McClain was with Rams the 2019-2020 season as the Defensive Line coach, and prior to that was at Austin Westlake as a high school coach in TXHSFB. He has coached many Division I commits, as well as the 6A Texas State player of the year in 2017. He coached in 2 TXHSFB State Finals games, with a record of 67-5.
Coach McClain played in the AFL for the Kansas City Brigade, and the Rio Grande Valley Dorados. He played college football at Auburn University and Southern Illinois University.
Coach McClain is married to his wife Kasey, and they have a daughter, Tatum who is a junior at Southlake Carroll High School.
