Tim Bellmon

Tim Bellmon joined the Texas Wesleyan coaching staff in the summer of 2009.

 

Bellmon came to Texas Wesleyan from Wiley College where he served as an assistant during the 2008-09 season.

 

He served as the head coach at Paul Quinn College from 2004-08, and was named Red River Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2008.  During his tenure at Paul Quinn, he coached 11 All-Conference players, including the 2007-08 RRAC Newcomer of the Year, and one All-American, Damien Chisholm.

 

Bellmon began his collegiate coaching career at Richland College, where he served as an assistant coach from 2000-2004. At Richland he helped guide the team to two Metro Conference Championships as well as third and fifth place finishes in the 2001-02 and 2002-03 NJCAA National Tournaments.

 

Bellmon received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University in 1992. He currently resides in Dallas, TX, with his son, Tyson.
