Tevin Baker, a native of Port Arthur, Texas, brings extensive experience in playing and coaching basketball at the collegiate level.
His athletic career began with two seasons in the NJCAA Region 14 conference at Lamar State College Port Arthur.
He continued his career in the American Southwest Conference at East Texas Baptist University, where he played for two years while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Communications with a minor in Kinesiology.
Following his tenure at East Texas Baptist, Baker played for one season in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference at Centenary College of Louisiana during his graduate year.
Upon completing his playing career, he was appointed as the Head Assistant Coach at Centenary College, where he also completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration.
In August 2023, Baker joined Texas Wesleyan University as the Assistant Coach and Head Development Coach for the Men’s Basketball program, continuing his dedication to developing and mentoring collegiate athletes
