2015-16: Named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll in Cross Country and Track...received the Coaches' Award in track & field...named SAC Track Athlete of the Week (3/15).

XC: Participated in seven varsity events...finished third at the TWU Opener (16:07) and fourth at the UTA  Gerald Richey Invitational (16:24.2), helping the Rams to two victories with his top two 5K times...best 8K time was 26:02.6 at Willamette's Charles Bowles Invitational...placed 18th at the SAC Championships with an 8K time of 26:36.4.

Indoor: Competed in the mile at Houston's Leonard Hilton, placing 10th with a time of 4:49.72.

Outdoor: Competed in three varsity events running the 5000m, 10000m and half marathon...placed third at the Southwestern Invitational 10000m with a time of 34:24.82 and was named SAC Athlete of the Week...placed 12th in the 5000m at the TSU Relays with a time of 16:27.33...won the Skyline Half Marathon with a time of 1:19:06.

High School: Ran for coach Jeff Barros at Socorro High School...a two-time regional qualifier in cross country...ran PR's of 16:42 in the 5K, 9;57 in the 2mile, and 4:41 in the mile.

Personal: Born Alan Ramirez on October 10, 1996, in El Paso, TX...son of Lorenzo Ramirez and Guadalupe Rodarte...has one sister, Raiza...is majoring in computer science.
