High School: Played for Coach Mike Bury at Southwest Crhistian School...named 1st-team All-District as a senior and 2nd-team All-District as a junior...took 1st in the Woodhaven Country Club Woodchoppers tournament.
Personal: Born Brenden Robert Newland on November 6, 1995, in Fort Worth, TX...son of David and Babby Newland...has two brothers, Shane and John...is majoring in business management and marketing.
