Ronnie Rosson joined the Texas Wesleyan coaching staff as the Director of Instruction in the fall of 2009.

Hailing from Lubbock, TX, Rosson brings a wealth of playing and teaching experience to Texas Wesleyan.  Rosson played collegiate golf at Texas Tech University.  The former “West Texas PGA Player of the Year” has over 35 years of experience as a golf professional and instructor at numerous clubs in West Texas. Rosson’s “Hybrid” teaching philosophy blends new and old techniques that relate to all golfers. He also has extensive experience with group clinics, club fittings, and course management.

Rosson was named “West Texas PGA Player of the Year” 13 times and won the WTPGA Championship five times, highlighting an accomplished playing career.  He has also qualified to play in three Byron Nelson Championships, and four PGA Club Professional Championships.  Dedicated to growing the game of golf, the former WTPGA President plays an active role in helping the PGA of America in its promotion of the game.
