2011-12: Played in two varsity events...shot his low round of the season with a card of 74 in round three of the UTA-Waterchase Invitational.
Prior to Wesleyan: Played one season for head coach Lance Watson at Oral Roberts University.
High School: A three-year letter winner and two-time 1st-team All-District selection for coach Mary Black at Frisco High School...named 1st-team All-Tournament and was a State qualifier...posted 10 top-10 finishes...a two-time team captain.
Personal: Born Elliott Thompson on Sep. 28, 1990, in Dallas, TX...son of Chris Thompson and Mindy Wellshear...has one sister, Mackenzie...is majoring in finance.
