Ciro Martinez is in his third season with the Texas Wesleyan men’s soccer team.
Martinez also assisted head coach Tyler Powell for two seasons at Northwood University, helping the Lady Knights to an overall record of 26-9-1 and a perfect 15-0 in Red River Athletic Conference play. The Knights won back-to-back RRAC regular season titles and added an RRAC tournament title as well as an NAIA National Tournament appearance in 2010.
Martinez has coached in the DFW area since 1986. He has served as the Vice President of coaches for the Plano Youth Soccer Association and holds USSF National “A” and USSF National Youth licenses as well as a NSCAA Regional Advance Diploma. Martinez also coaches for Andromeda Soccer Club (2007-present). He brings experience as a former high school, Classic League, collegiate, and Dallas Cup referee, NTSSA Coaches Instructor, and Olympic Development Program Coach.
