Matheus Macedo is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and started his competitive career at 5.
Matheus has an extensive career as a player and began his coaching career in 2016 in Denver, Colorado. Within the four lines, Matheus played for traditional clubs in Rio de Janeiro such as Bangu A.C and CFZ. He played for other few clubs reaching the national level. Macedo began his career in the United States at Northwest College, where he played for one season.
After his first season in the US, Matheus transferred to TXWES in 2019, where he played for 3 seasons. As a coach, he worked in camps in more than 25 states. He won several championships with his u11 and u13 teams by Byron Youth Soccer Academy in Minnesota. Matheus has a company where he works on improving the technical part and developing players around DFW. Furthermore, he assists as a coach at Sting SC.
