2009:  Played in 12 games, including four starts as a sophomore…ranked fifth on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists…had the assist in a 1-0 win at Bacone (10/1)…scored in a 3-2 loss to Our Lady of the Lake (10/8)…had a goal and an assist in a win over Southwestern Adventist (10/17)…scored in a 3-2 win at Southwest (10/24).

2008: Played in 15 games, including 14 starts as a freshman...finished the season with four points on a goal and two assists...scored a goal in his first collegiate game, an 8-0 win at McMurry (8/29)...had two assists in a 4-3 win over 21st ranked Benedictine (9/6).

High School: Played for coach Jack Warren at Arlington Heights High School...named team captain and best forward as a senior...led the team in scoring as a senior

Personal: Born Rafael Ivan Franco Rodriguez, Jan. 7, 1988, in Aguascalientes, Mexico...son of Alfredo Franco and Rita Rodriguez..has one brother, Omar, and one sister, Karen...is majoring in bilingual education.
