Felix Esparza is in his seventh season (2022) as an Assistant Coach at Texas Wesleyan and his fourth as Associate Head Coach.
During his tenure the Rams have garnered a record of 150-129Â (.538) and produced three All-Americans and 30 all-conference players.

Esparza began coaching his own children in various youth leagues and has coached youth softball for many years. He began coaching at the select level in 2005. Most recently he coached the U16 Gold Team for Texas Elite. As a select coach, his teams have traveled the country and played numerous National and invite only tournaments.

A Burleson High School graduate, Esparza has played both baseball and basketball.

Esparza has also served as a firefighter with the City of Fort Worth since 2001. He holds an EMT Basic certification and currently serves on the Technical Rescue Unit within the FWFD.

Esparza resides in Burleson, with his wife Haylee and children Saeya, Sloan, and Slade.
