Prior to Wesleyan:  Played one season for head coach Debra Clark at NCAA Division I Norfolk State University...averaged 6.9 points in 29 games for the Spartans...played two seasons at Monroe Community College...led MCC to the 2012 NJCAA National Championship and was named MVP of the National Tournament after averaging 18.3 points including 26 in the title game...averaged 13.6 points per game in her freshman season.

High School:  Four-year varsity letterwinner and four-time Team MVP at Frederick High for Coach Keviette Hammond…averaged 16 points per game, 4.0 assists, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals in her senior year…named the Frederick Newspost Player of the Week as a junior…earned first-team All-Conference and All-Gazette honors in her junior season…winner of team’s Best Offensive Player Award as a junior…earned All-Frederick, All-Gazette, and All-Conference first-team honors as a sophomore.
 
Personal: Born Kashay Chamise Barnes on Jun. 7, 1992, in Baltimore, MD...daughter of Cherylene Barnes and Jeffery Ramey...Has one brother, Denzel Zeigler, and three sisters, Rychelle Ramey, Shawnte Ramey, and Shawntelle Ramey...is majoring in business marketing.
