2015-16: Named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll as well as Academic All-Conference in both cross country and track...received the Coaches' Award in track.

XC: Competed in five varsity events as a freshman and improved her 5K time in each race...set PR at the SAC Championship with a time of 21:50.7 to place 29th...best finish was 14th at the UTA Gerald Richey Invitational with a time of 22:30.6.

Indoor: Compete in one varsity event, running the 800m in 2:47.59 to place 9th at Houston's Leonard Hilton Memorial.

Outdoor: Competed in six events, running the 800m, 1500m and Half Marathon...set PR in the 400m at 2:40.60 to place 17th at the ACU Oliver Jackson Twilight...placed 18th in the Skyline Half Marathon with a time of 1:47:31...set PR in the 1500m at 5:27.93 to place 23rd at the UIW Cardinal Invitational.

Prior to Wesleyan: Ran for head coach Koby Styles at Midwestern State University...ran 5K PR of 21:20.45 to help MSU to a win at the 2012 Texas Wesleyan Ram Ramble...named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2013.

High School: Ran for coach John Riley at Jefferson West High School...three-year letter winner...helped JWHS to a League Championship in 2009...was League Champion in cross country in 2012...in cross country, finished 15th at State in 2011 and 17th in 2012...in track, was League Champion in the 2-mile and placed 8th at State in 2-mile and 10th in mile in 2012...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Carrie Finson on March 24, 1994, in Topeka, KS...daughter of David and Shelly Finson...has one brother, AJ, and one sister, Cora...is majoring in business marketing and finance.
