Jason Rocha is in his sixth season (2021) as an assistant coach for the Texas Wesleyan women’s golf program.
Rocha is from Saginaw, TX, and began playing golf at the age of seven. He graduated from Boswell High School in 1987 and served in the U.S. Army from 1989-1995 before settling into the golf business in 1996. Jason started volunteering with the Lindy Miller Foundation for Junior Golf (which became The First Tee of Fort Worth in 2004) in the late 90’s before becoming the Program Director from 2002-2006. He then continued his golf career as the First Assistant at Glen Garden Golf & Country Club from 2006-2010 and as Head Professional from 2010-2014.
Jason is currently a Lead Coach at The First Tee of Fort Worth and also a Mental Coach for many advanced students at the junior and collegiate level. This includes Fort Worth City Champions, First Tee participants who qualified for The First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, & college tournament champions.
