Katie Bond (Baugh)

Katie Bond is going into her third season (2025) as the Head Coach of the Lady Rams Soccer Team. Bond Spent 2020-2022 as the assistant coach and 2019 as a volunteer coach.

In her first 2 season as a head coach Bond has gone 11-20-4, with 2 appearances to the conference tournament. She has had 3 players named second team all-conference and multiple players named to the SAC Commissioners Honor Roll and the University’s Deans List.

Prior to her coaching tenure, Bond spent her freshman season at Navarro Junior College where she played goal keeper and was named to the Region 14 All Region Honorable Mention team. She then transferred to Texas Wesleyan as a Sophomore. During her career at Wesleyan she played as an outside back starting in 52 games, scoring 4 goals playing 3,221 minutes. She was also awarded two SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll awards and earned Deans list in the Spring 2019. Bond also helped lead the team to a Conference Championship in 2018.

She graduated from Texas Wesleyan with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2019. Bond resides in Saginaw with her husband Tommy.
