Biography
2012: Helped the Lady Rams win their first conference championship...named All-Conference in the 1500, 5k, 10k, 3k, 4x8, and the 400 hurdles...picked up an All-Conference honor in cross country.
2011: An All-Conference selection in the 1500, 5k, 10k, 3k, and the 4x8...placed second at the RRAC Championships as a team...also a member of the cross country team...helped the Lady Rams to a conference championship...finished second at the Mid-States Classic.
Prior To Wesleyan: Helped Northwood University to an RRAC Championship under head coach Natnael Amare...finished third in the RRAC Championship and was a national qualifier...also a national qualifier in indoor track.
HIgh School: Ran for coach Barnes at Grand Prairie High School...broke the school records in the 3200m and the 1600m...awarded the Cross Country Runner of the Year...named Most Athletic Senior...a regional qualifier and 2007 District Champion (individual)...regional qualifier in the 3200m (2007).
Personal: Lauri Angelica Gutierrez...born December 3rd, 1989 in Dallas, Texas...daughter of Jose Padilla and Araceli Rosales...has three siblings, Adan, Jesus, and Jaime...majoring in Criminal Justice.
