Brendan Kerr

Brendan Kerr is in his second season with the Lady Rams. He brings seven years of club and three years of college coaching experience to Texas Wesleyan. 

Before ariving at Texas Wesleyan, Kerr was the volunteer assistant coach for the NCAA Division I women's program at the University of Arizona.  Kerr spent the majority of his time training the liberos and defensive specialists.  In his last season with Arizona, the Wildcats earned their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005.

Kerr attended the University of Arizona
where he received his bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies.  At Arizona, he played for the men's club team where he was a team captain and libero, helping the Wildcats to three Mountain West Conference titles and a NIRSA National Championship in 2005.  Kerr served as a head coach and court trainer for VBC Dinamo (girls) and as the assistant club director for Arizona Premier Volleyball (boys) in Tucson, AZ. He has served as a camp coach at the David Rubio Volleyball Camps for the past five years, last summer at the Wichita State Volleyball Camps, and head court coach for the Texas Wesleyan Nike Volleyball Camp.
 

A native of Campbell, CA, Kerr played for Chris Muscat at Bay to Bay Volleyball Club for four years; a perennial top-10 program, in Santa Cruz, CA, under the direction of Brad Keller.
