Ransom is entering her fifth season (2022) as Texas Wesleyan's head volleyball coach. She is also in her second season as Assistant Athletic Director while serving the department as Senior Women's Administrator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
She has led the Rams to the NAIA National Tournament in all four seasons while extending the program's streak to five consecutive appearances. She holds an overall record of 95-32 (.748) and a sparkling 61-9 (.871) mark in Sooner Athletic Conference play. She has coached five NAIA All-American selections including Bailey Foy who was named 1st-team NAIA All-American in 2020 and 2021, and 24 All-Conference selections.
Ransom came to Texas Wesleyan from Burleson Centennial High School where she directed the Spartans Volleyball program. In two seasons at CHS, she helped the Spartans to back-to-back appearances in the Bi-District Finals. In 2017 the Spartans won a District Championship and Ransom was named District Coach of the Year.
Prior to her term at CHS, Ransom spent time at Tarleton State University and Texas A&M-Commerce where she served as an assistant coach. At A&M-Commerce, she served as a graduate assistant and travel coordinator while completing a Master of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance.
Ransom earned an undergraduate degree in Business from Midwestern State University where she played outside hitter for the volleyball program. She led the Mustangs to a 25-9 record her senior season. That season, she led the team hitting .262 while posting 2.75 kills per set. Ransom was also named Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice. Her junior season the team boasted its best season in school history at 27-6, including a 12-match win streak. The program capped the historic run with its first postseason berth, punching a ticket to the 2007 NCAA DII National Volleyball Championship.

NAIA National Tournament Final Site
In her fourth season, Ransom led the Rams back to the NAIA National Tournament Final Site by defeating #17 ranked Columbia College in four sets. After a 9-5 start to the season, the Rams earned 14 straight victories including 12 SAC wins in a row to secure the regular season Conference Title. Six Rams were named to the All Sooner Athletic Conference team including four 1
st Team nods with Bailey Foy, Veronika Webb, Morgan Burns, and Sydney Charlton while Foy picked up superlatives of SAC Co-Attacker of the Year and MVP. Webb and Foy were also awarded All American honors to wrap up the season. After finishing as conference champions for the first time since 2005, Ransom picked up both SAC as well as South Central Region Coach of the Year honors. The Rams also excelled in the classroom as 10 members of the team earned Academic All-SAC honors while three Rams were named Scholar-Athletes including Foy, Hannah Bokal, and Haley Harvey.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and a season that spanned both the fall and spring semesters, Ransom once again guided the Rams back to the NAIA National Tournament with an overall record of 18-5 and a runner-up finish at the SAC Tournament. The Rams traveled to Bellevue University and came up just short in a 3-2 thriller that was extended to 18-16 in the fifth set. Six Rams were named All-SAC led by Bailey Foy who was the program's first 1st-team NAIA All-American selection since 1990. She was the NAIA's most accurate hitter with a .413 attack percentage while knocking down 243 total kills and averaging 3.2 kills per set. Foy was also named SAC Attacker and Newcomer of the Year after being named SAC Player of the Week four times during the season. Nyia Anderson, a 2nd-team All-SAC selection, was named SAC Freshman of the year and Morgan Burns garnered 1st-team All-Conference honors. Veronika Webb and Sydney Charlton were also named to the 2nd-team while Andrea Malek was an Honorable Mention All-SAC pick. The Rams also excelled in the classroom garnering SAC Scholar-Team accolades with a 3.11 GPA. Seven Rams were named Academic All-SAC while Foy, Hannah Bakal and Haley Harvey were named SAC Scholar-Athletes.

NAIA National Tournament Final Site
In her second season, Ransom led the Rams back to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round. This time the Rams defeated Huston-Tillotson 3-2 in a thriller at the Sid Richardson Center, earning the program's second trip to the National Tournament final site in the last three seasons. After an 8-6 start to the season, the Rams ripped off eight-straight SAC wins book-ended by victories over Wayland Baptist and John Brown. The team closed the regular season by winning 14 of 15 contests and the reached the SAC championship match with tournament wins over SAGU and John Brown to secure an NAIA National Tournament Opening Round bid. In the Opening Round game, the Rams rallied from an 2-0 deficit after dropping game two 25-5 to thill the SRC crowd with a 3-2 win. At the National Tournament final site the Rams nearly pulled off an upset of No. 4 Missouri Baptist and later defeated College of St. Mary 3-1 to mark the program's first win at the final site since 2005. The team was rated 24th in the NAIA Postseason Coaches' Poll. Chastiny Brown was an NAIA All-America selection while five other Rams were named All-Conference. Brenda Pargas and Arianna Alvarado joined Brown as first-team selections while Alvarado was also named SAC Freshman of the Year. Madison Lopez and Veronika Webb were named second-team All-SAC and Brianna Sitton earned honorable mention accolades. Six Rams were named Academic All-SAC and two were named SAC Scholar-Athlete.

Ransom became the sixth head coach in the history of a program that was approaching 1,000 wins. She guided the team to an overall record of 24-11 including an SAC mark of 17-3 and an appearance in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round. Tierra Coverson was named SAC Defensive Player of the Year and Honorable Mention NAIA All-American. A total of six Rams were named All-SAC. Sasha Robinson and Brianna Sitton joined Coverson as a 1st-team selections. Dana Lohrke was a 2nd-team selection, while Chastiny Brown and Brenda Pargas received honorable mention recognition. In addition Sara Benitiez was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
