2014: Played in 33 matches and made 7 starts as a junior...named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll...ranked second on the team with 508 assists and third with 25 aces...also notched 47 kills, 151 digs, and 14 blocks...had 20 or more assists eight times...notched a season-high 32 assists at Arlington Baptist (10/7) after posting 31 at Southwestern Christian (10/4) in the previous match.
Prior to Wesleyan: Played two seasons for head coach Tammie Jimenez at Midland College...twice named All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference after leading the Lady Chaps with 535 assists as a freshman and 830 assists as a sophomore...led the Chaps to the NJCAA Region V West tournament in both seasons including a Region V West finals appearance in 2012....received the Lady Chap award as a sophomore.
High School: a three-year letter winner for coach Jennifer McCully at Frenship High School...named 2nd-team All-District as a senior...twice named 2nd-team All-City...helped the team to a District Championship and three Regional Tournament appearances.
Personal: Born Kristina Gafford on December 15, 1993, in San Angelo, TX...daughter of Paul and Toni Gafford...has one brother, Jeremy, and one sister, Hayley...is majoring in business.
