High School: Played for coach Janio Marinho and the Olimpiadas Escolares...named All-Conference in 2009...helped the team to a league championship in 2007.

Personal: Born Larissa Gomes on July 7, 1992, in Belem, Para, Brazil...daughter of Carlos George Martins Gomes and Aldemira Coelho Garcia...has one brother Luis, and one sister, Lorena...is majoring in computer science.
