Aminah Orozco enters her third season (2026) as Head Volleyball Coach at Texas Wesleyan University, Orozco brings numerous years of coaching as well as the experience as a nationally recognized player.

Since taking over the program, Orozco has quickly established Texas Wesleyan as one of the premier volleyball programs in the Sooner Athletic Conference. In her first two seasons, she has led the Rams to back-to-back 25-win seasons, highlighted by the 2024 Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and a berth in the NAIA National Volleyball Championships for the ninth consecutive year and the 18th total for the program. Under her leadership, the Rams have consistently competed among the conference's elite, advancing to consecutive SAC Tournament championship matches while building a culture of excellence on and off the court.

Prior to Texas Wesleyan, Orozco served as Assistant Coach and Director of Operations at the University of North Texas during the 2023 season, helping guide the Mean Green to the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) in the program's inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference.

Before joining North Texas, Orozco made history at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO), becoming the winningest coach in program history after recording 23 victories in just two seasons. She led the Drovers to consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament appearances, including a program-record 14-win season in 2021, while coaching four All-SAC selections.

Orozco's coaching experience extends beyond the collegiate level. As Club Director and Head Coach at El Paso True Grit Volleyball Club, she helped establish one of the club boys' volleyball programs while developing athletes across volleyball, basketball and soccer. With more than a decade of coaching experience, she is VertiMax certified and has trained athletes at multiple levels to maximize performance and athletic development.

A former standout player, Orozco earned all-conference honors at both Vernon College and Saint Gregory's University. She graduated from Saint Gregory's in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Biology.
