Andrew Vera-Jackson enters his first season (2022) as Volunteer Assistant for TXWES Wrestling.
Andrew wrestled at Cienega High School in Tucson, Arizona. He was a 4-year varsity starter, Conference Champion, 2x state Place winner, and AZ state Finalist.
He’s an All-American and All-State Team member. Andrew made the Arizona National Team. in addition to breaking four school records and a career record of 87-20.
Andrew wrestled at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and received his Bachelor of Science in Global Security and Intelligence, Minor in Middle Eastern studies, and Arabic as his 3rd Language. He worked for three years in Law Enforcement and is now in the Private sector.
After graduating, due to being half Bolivian, Andrew became a Bolivia World Team member placing 10th at Pan-Am Championship & Ranked 60th in the World. Now he is preparing for competition in 2023 and qualifying for the 2024 Olympics Games.
One of Andrew’s goals is to give back to the community he grew up within. He wants to do this through his nonprofit to help hopeful athletes get into universities, colleges, trade schools and jobs. Make sure to get them the help they need, from applications and interviews to scholarships.
