Javhi Blomquist enters his first season (2026) with Texas Wesleyan as the Assistant Defensive Backs Coach. Blomquist brings a wealth of knowledge to the Rams with five years of playing experience.
Blomquist comes to the Rams after finishing his playing career at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN. Blomquist recorded 31 total tackles and four pass breakups in his lone season for an NCAA Divison 1 program.
Prior to St. Thomas, Blomquist was a defensive back for Benedictine College from 2021-2024 where he recorded 186 tackles, 24 pass breakups, and 5 interceptons. During his time with the Ravens he was named to the Heart of America First Team All-Conference three times and was named an NAIA All-American in his senior year (2024). In his junior and senior year, Blomquist was a captain of the defense that was recognized as one of the top units in the nation.
