Judah Lewis enters his second season (2026) at Texas Wesleyan and will transition back to the defensive side of the ball in 2026 as the Rams’ defensive backs coach after serving as wide receivers coach during the 2025 season.
During his first season at Texas Wesleyan, Lewis was part of a staff that helped guide the Rams to their fourth consecutive conference championship, an appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series playoffs, and a final national ranking of No. 24. Working with the wide receiver unit, Lewis helped develop one of the conference’s top passing attacks as the Rams led the conference in passing offense and placed three wide receivers among the conference’s top 10 in receiving yards, including All-Conference selections Sean Smith and Ronnie Schneider.
Prior to Texas Wesleyan, Lewis coached wide receivers at Northwestern Oklahoma State in 2024, where he developed All-GAC selection Travis Romar before being promoted to safeties coach and recruiting coordinator.
Lewis also spent the 2023 season at Texas A&M–Kingsville as assistant safeties coach. That season, the Javelinas ranked third in the Lone Star Conference in total defense (293.1 yards allowed per game) and second in rushing defense (118.7 yards allowed per game), while producing the LSC Defensive Back of the Year, Amos Coleman.
Lewis earned his Bachelor of Science in History from Liberty University. He and his wife, Kaylie, reside in Fort Worth.
