MUSKOGEE, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (12-13, 5-3 RRAC) took a 3-0 win at Bacone College (4-19, 2-7) on Friday. The Rams won with scores of 25-11, 25-20, and 25-22.
“We played well today,” commented head coach Christy Clawson. “We were very consistent. Bacone played very well late in the second and into the third set. They made us work for it, but our girls stayed consistent and got the job done.”
The Lady Rams will return to action on Saturday, when they travel to Bethany, OK, to take on Southern Nazarene University. That match is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start.
