AUSTIN, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (8-10, 2-1 RRAC) took a 3-0 win over Huston-Tillotson University (1-15, 0-3) in Red River Athletic Conference play on Saturday.
 
The Rams took an impressive 25-6 win in game one.  The Rams won 25-15 in game two, although nine of HTU’s points came off of Texas Wesleyan hitting errors.  Texas Wesleyan then polished the match off with a 25-21 win in game three.
 
Bailey Bunting and Katherine Rosenbusch led the Rams with eight kills each.  Angelica Arroyo had 25 assists.  Stephanie Dominguez turned in a solid all-around game with six kills, eight digs, and a block assist.
 
“We were able to make some rotation changes in each game today,” commented head coach Christy Clawson, “but we still need to focus on playing strong for the entire match.  Overall this was a good win.”
 
The Rams will return to action on Monday, when they host Oklahoma City University.  That match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start in the Sid Richardson Center.
