Box Score vs. Concordia Texas

GEORGETOWN, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (13-15) split a pair of matches at Southwestern University’s Schlotzsky’s Halloween Tournament on Saturday.  The Lady Rams fell in four sets to Austin College (23-11) before topping Concordia University Texas (13-17) in three.
 
Against Austin College, the Roo’s took game one 25-17 before the Lady Rams leveled the match with a 25-19 win in game two.  AC squeaked out a 26-24 win to regain control in game three and then closed out the match 25-22 in game four.
 
Against Concordia the Rams topped the Tornado’s in straight sets, 25-20, 25-18, and 25-21.  “That was a good win after the loss this morning,” said head coach Christy Clawson.  “That’s the best we’ve played as a team in a long while.”
