FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women's basketball team (8-6, 4-2 SAC) won their third consecutive conference game with a 98-63 drumming of the University of Science and Arts Oklahoma (3-6, 2-4 SAC) at the Sid Richardson Center on Monday night.

Krissy Parker made it a nine point, 17-8 lead with a jumper with 14:15 remaining in the first half. Sami Martin and the Lady Drovers battled back to get within three at 19-16 on a shot beyond the arch. Texas Wesleyan answered with a dominating 15-0 run to push the lead to a 27-18 advantage. The Lady Rams kept the pedal to the floor taking a massive 22 point 54-32 lead at the break.

Wesleyan continued the overpowering effort into the second half, pushing the lead to 63-32, completing a 13-0 run that started neat the end of the first half. In the best offensive effort of the year, the Lady Rams pushed the lead to the largest of the night at 38, 85-47 on a Parker layup. Wesleyan kept a better than 30 spot on the Lady Drovers for the remainder of the game, winning 98-63.

The Rams outscored the Drovers 26-12 in the paint, and 24-11 in bench points. The Lady Rams shot 56 percent from the field, 21 percent from the three point line, and 63 percent from the charity stripe. The Drovers shot only 38 percent from the field, 32 percent from downtown, and 50 percent from the free throw line. Texas Wesleyan did an impressive job of keeping USAO off of the free throw line as they made only one of two attempts, all in the first half. Wesleyan only committed nine fouls total in the game.

Five Lady Rams reached double digits in points as Parker led team with 19 points.Â
