BETHANY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University men's soccer team (3-5-2, 1-2 SAC) suffered a 3-0 loss at Southwestern Christian University (9-1-1, 3-1 SAC) on Saturday.
The game featured 29 fouls in total. Fifteen went against the Rams while 14 opposed SCU. Meanwhile six yellow cards were doled out, all to Texas Wesleyan.
One of those fouls gave SCU a free kick in the 18th minute, and Svetislav Milic opened the scoring off an assist from Adam Kay. Each team took three shots in the first half, and the score remained 1-0 at the intermission.
Milic scored again in the 51st minute, and eight minutes later, Matheus Magalhaes pushed SCU's advantage to 3-0.
For the game, the Rams outshot the Eagles 11-8, but SCU's Chris Muter stopped both of the Rams' shots on goal. The Eagles scored on three of their four shots on target.
The Rams will return to action on Tuesday, when they host Mid-America Christian University. That game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start at Martin Field.
