SHAWNEE, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (6-13, 3-2 SAC) dropped a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-23) loss to 15th ranked Oklahoma Baptist University (15-6, 5-0 SAC) at the Mabee Arena on Tuesday.
 
The Lady Bison are unbeaten in conference through five games, with sole possession of the top spot early in the conference race. Texas Wesleyan did not make it a comfortable win for Oklahoma Baptist, challenging the Bison throughout, but falling just short in each of the three sets with the 15th ranked team in the land.
 
Abigail Zipoy led the Lady Rams with a 10 kill, 21 dig, double-double. Alex Hendee also notched 10 kills. Shelby Stinnett tallied 13 digs, and eight kills. Kristina Gafford added 12 assists, while Shaughnessy Hearn posted 12 digs for Texas Wesleyan.
 
The Lady Rams will see action against Southwestern Christian University on Saturday, October 4. The match is set for a 1:00 pm in Bethany, OK.
