FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women's basketball team (3-0) dropped an 88-49 exhibition game against NCAA Division I Texas Christian University (0-0) at the University Recreation Center on Sunday.

Not 24 hours after completing an 86-70 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan University, did Texas Wesleyan hit the floor again. This time it was a game versus the cross-town Frogs.

TCU opened the first quarter with a 9-0 run before
Delana Lopez knocked down a jumper to get the Rams on the board, and probably calm some nerves. The Frogs stayed on the gas, grabbing a 24-9 lead after one quarter of play.

Onyesonam Nolisa opened the second with layup in the paint to make it 24-11. Nolisa hit from long range and later slashed through the lane for a good lay-in to make it a 36-22 game with 3:43 remaining in the half. The Frogs kept scoring and took a comfortable 45-28 lead into the half.

The Lady Rams shot 38 percent in the first half and outscored TCU 12-10 in the paint. Texas Wesleyan also held the Frogs scoreless in the points off turnover category in the first half.

Texas Christian maintained a double digit lead throughout the second half, and coasted to finish line with a final score of 75-40.

For the game, Wesleyan shot 34 percent from the field, while the Frogs posted 48 percent from the field. TCU held the rebound advantage at 53-30.

The Lady Rams leaned on their ace Nolisa today and she posted 24 points, six boards, four blocks, and four steals in the game.
Falesha Fuller tallied 10 points, four assists, and four rebounds for the Rams.
Courtney Chargois put in six points, while Taylor hooks had four points, five boards, and two steals in the effort.

The Lady Rams will resume regular season play with a meeting against the Wiley College Wildcats on Monday, November 16. That contest is set for a 6:00 pm start in Marshall, TX.Â
