OKLAHOMA CITY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University women's basketball team (3-6, 0-2 SAC) fell to 13th ranked and defending two-time national champion Oklahoma City University (5-3, 2-0 SAC) at Abe Lemons Arena on Tuesday.

The Lady Rams started the game on the wrong end of an 8-3 run. Wesleyan fought back with a 5-0 rally to cut the lead to 12-10 on a
Katelynn Threats jumper at the end of the quarter.

The Rams cut the lead to one with a
Courtney Chargois jumper to make it 19-18 with 6:32 left in the half. The Stars answered with an 8-0 rally capped by an Allison Frey three pointer to extend the lead back out to a 27-18 advantage. Threats hit another two-pointer before the end of the half to make it a 33-26 game at the break.

Despite outshooting the Stars 41 percent to 39 percent from the field, Texas Wesleyan only hit one shot from downtown while Oklahoma dropped five from the three line.

OCU quickly jumped back out to a double-digit lead to start the third quarter. The Stars found themselves with a 45-29 advantages. The Rams made up six points before the end of the quarter capped by a
Leila Jdily-Ezzad triple to cut the lead to 48-38.

Falesha Fuller sunk a jumper to start the final frame to make it 48-40 game. Oklahoma City pushed the lead back out to comfortable lead, and despite an 8-0 rally to end the game the Lady Rams fell 62-50.

Onyesonam Nolisa posted another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Threats followed that with a doubl-double behind 13 points and 11 boards. Fuller added 10 points.

Texas Wesleyan will head to North Miami, FL to play Florida Memorial University on Monday, December 14 starting at 7:00 pm.Â
