FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University baseball (12-10, 4-1 SAC) picked up a sweep of Southwestern Assemblies of God University (7-21, 0-8 SAC) with a 9-4 win in game one and a 3-1 win in game two at QuickTrip Park on Friday

The Rams put up crooked number to start game one with a throwing error that scored one and a two RBI double from
Jonathan Bravo.

Wesleyan added a run in the top of the second with a
Dusteyn Suttle RBI single to make it a 4-0 game.

The Lions fought back and cut the lead with two run in the third inning to make it a 4-2 Rams lead.

Texas Wesleyan got back out to a comfortable lead in the sixth with a three hit two run inning capped by a
Hayden Muns two RBI double.

SAGU came right back in the home half of the innings with two more runs to make it a 6-4 game.

Not to be outdone, Texas Wesleyan put the game out of reach in the seventh that started with a
Jake Howeth RBI triple to right center. Kamtz drove Howeth in on a base hit, and
Rod Lewis followed that up with a RBI single to cruise to a 9-4 win.

The Rams started early again in game two with Kamtz ground out RBI to the shortstop that was set up by a Howeth triple to the right center wall.

The Rams put on another run on the board in the second with a RBI single by
Ryan Mendez to make a 2-0 lead.

Wesleyan produced a run in the third inning after another Howeth triple to set up a Kamtz sacrifice fly to right field to extend the Rams lead to 3-0 advantage.

Avery Sullivan closed things out in the seventh to secure the sweep and earn his fourth save of the season.

The Rams will take on Texas Lutheran University in a double header on Tuesday, March 17 starting at 1:00 pm in Seguin, TX
