SHAWNEE, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (11-9, 3-1 SAC) split a double header with Oklahoma Baptist University (7-18, 1-3 SAC) at Lady Bison Park on Friday. The Lady Rams posted a 6-4 win before falling 14-0 in the nightcap.

In the first inning, Tucker got things started in the second inning with a two out double to center field.
Aizia Azarcon moved her to third with a base hit through the left side.
Lauren Davis got the run home with a RBI single to shortstop for a 1-0 lead.

Hannah Morris singled through the left side in the bottom half of the inning, and Rayna Harjo brought the runner in with a single to center field to tie the game at 1-1.

The Bison took the lead with a two run, three hit third inning to take a 3-1 lead.

Texas Wesleyan responded with a five run rally in the fourth inning. Azarcon started the inning with a double to left field. The Lady Rams took advantage of a pair of errors to plate a run. With the bases loaded,
Chelsea Anderson bashed a ball over the center field fence for a grand slam and a 6-3 lead.
Oklahoma Baptist put a run across in sixth, but Wesleyan held off the Bison to take a 6-4 game one win.

Azarcon went 3 for 4. Anderson went 1 for 4 with four RBI. Davis went 1 for 4 with a RBI.

Marlett (6-4) threw all seven innings in the win. She gave up four runs on nine hits and walked five.

The Lady Bison came back in game two and defended their home turf. Oklahoma Baptist kept the Lady Rams at bay while tacking on 14 runs in a shutout win

Dani West went 2 for 3 with two singles. Â
Kayla Prachyl and
Kendall Kizer both recorded a hit to make up the Wesleyan offense.

The Lady Rams will stay in Shawnee, OK to take on St. Gregory's University with a double header tomorrow starting at noon.
