FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (11-6, 2-0 SAC) picked up another 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-21) conference win over St. Gregory's University (1-6, 0-2 SAC) at the Sid Richardson Center on Saturday.

The Lady Rams once again powered to a great start in the first set with a 4-0 rally capped by a
Shelby Stinnett kill. The Rams continued to dominate and another Stinnett kill made it an 11-5 kill.
Starnisha Bodie made it a 10-point advantage at 18-8 with a kill. The Lady Rams cruised to a 25-20 win.

Once again the Rams got off to a great start as a
Shaughnessy Hearn service ace overwhelmed the Cavalier defense to make it a 4-0 lead. St. Gregory's fought back and tied the game at 6 apiece before Wesleyan busted out with a massive 11-0 rally that included three aces by Stinnett, while
Abby Zipoy and
Alanna Hayhurst teamed up for a pair of kills to make it a 17-6 advantage. Zipoy later put the game away with a kill for a 25-15 win.

The Cavaliers kept the game from getting out of hand for as long as they could, tying the game at 9-9 with an Ashlyn Broussard kill. St. Gregory's got out to a 15-9 lead before Texas Wesleyan started their comeback. The Lady Rams rallied with a 9-0 run capped by a salty Stinnett ace to take a 20-17.
Bre Blackburn made it a 22-19 game with a kill, before some Cavalier errors ate up the rest of the game to give TWU a 25-21, 3-0 match win.

Zipoy led the Rams with 11 kills, while posting eight digs. Stinnett had 10 kills and seven aces in the match.
Kristina Gafford tallied 25 assists. Hearn led all players with 14 digs, tacking on three aces. Bodie added seven kills.

The Lady Rams will make a short drive to Arlington, TX for a meeting with Arlington Baptist College on Tuesday, September 22 starting at 4:00 pm.
