FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University men's soccer team (3-5) came up on the short end of a 4-2 score against Wiley College (2-1-1) at Martin Field on Thursday.
Texas Wesleyan rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game before the Wildcats got off the matt and pushed ahead for the 4-2 win.

Alejandro Rey, but Wiley's Erik Reyes came up with a save to keep the game scoreless.
Abdallah Rayyan scored in the 32nd and 42nd minutes. Both goals came after crosses into the box bounded out to the top of the 18 and the second occurred just 3:14 before the intermission.
Late in the game, the Rams came storming back.
Kian Hosseinpour got Texas Wesleyan on the board in the 65th minute. In the 81st minute, Day hit Rey again, and this time Rey tied the game 2-2.
The momentum was short lived however. Rayyan scored his third goal of the day just 26 seconds later. Wiley's Oswaldo Cortez put the issue to rest with another strike in the 89th minute.
Wiley outshot the Rams 23-13; however, shots on goal were 7-5 favoring the Wildcats. Reyes made three saves in the win, while Texas Wesleyan's
Marko Jovanovic (3-4) did the same in the loss.
The Rams will return to action on Saturday, when they host the University of the Southwest. That game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start at Martin Field.
Ramblings
- The Rams are now 6-2 all-time against Wiley. They lead the all-time series with USW 8-3.
- With his assist today, Day now has a point in six of the Rams' eight games this season.
Anthony Atilola also had an assist, giving him a point in each of the three contests in which he has played.
