JBU is the first team to score over 80 points against the Rams' defense this season and hit 16 out of 34 threes against TXWES, which ranked No. 1 in the nation coming into the matchup in three-point percentage defense (20.9 percent).
The Rams led 58-57 with 14:13 to go in the second half but gave up 16 of the next 19 points in the next 4:25 of action. The Golden Eagles led 91-80 with 2:21 left before Texas Wesleyan scored eight in a row capped by

John Brown and Mid-America Christian are the only SAC teams still undefeated after the weekend results, two of 14 programs left without a loss in the NAIA. Conference matchups will be sprinkled throughout December, including TXWES' tilt with Southwestern Assemblies of God December 3, but won't pick back up consistently until after the turn of the calendar to 2020.
Texas Wesleyan will host Arlington Baptist Tuesday night at 5 p.m. before Thanksgiving break.
