PORTLAND, Texas – The Texas Wesleyan University softball team (0-5) were turned away empty handed in day two of the NAIA Tournament on the Beach on Saturday. The Lady Rams fell short 4-1 against No. 16 Columbia College (6-0) before getting edged 3-2 by McPherson College (3-2).
TXWES was outpaced by the Cougars in game one. Columbia grabbed an early 3-0 lead in the third.
