Planning on attending a TXWES Athletics Game Day? Be prepared by reading the Game Day protocols set forth by the University. The return to athletics is underway as team sports are set to start competition this month.
Please read below to find specific instructions on requirements to attend, and how to protect yourself and others while watching the game live.

Game Day COVID-19 Protocols
Spectators and Fans
- Spectators are required to wear masks at all times while attending a Texas Wesleyan athletic event.
- Spectators are required to self-screen for COVID 19 symptoms prior to entering a Texas Wesleyan athletic event.
- Spectators are required to administer a self-temperature check prior to entering a Texas Wesleyan athletic event.
- Spectators are required to observe social distancing guidelines of remaining six feet apart except with individuals of the same household.
- Spectators are required to follow entry and exit pathways at each facility.
- Occupancy restrictions at TXWES athletic venues will follow the guidance of Tarrant County, the City of Fort Worth, the CDC and local medical professionals.
- Spectators from opposing teams must be included on a permitted attendance list in order to attend a Texas Wesleyan athletic event. The list must be submitted by the opposing team 24 hours prior to the start time of the contest.Â
- Texas Wesleyan athletes will submit a pass list 24 hours prior to the start of the contest.Â
- All spectators, other than those on the attendance list for the home and visiting team, will be admitted on a first come first serve basis until occupancy limits are reached.
TEAMS AND OFFICIALS
- All members of the traveling team party are required to submit the NAIA COVID screening questionnaire. The game administrator will provide those to the opposing coach upon arrival. Coaches are responsible for returning the questionnaires to the game administrator.Â
- All members of the traveling team party are required to submit to a temperature check within 2 hours of the start of the contest. Coaches are responsible for conducting the temperature check. An infared thermometer will be provided. If an athlete or coach registers a temperature above 99.4 degrees, a member of the Texas Wesleyan athletic training staff will conduct a second temperature check with an oral thermometer.
- All members of the traveling team party with the exception of athletes on the active roster are required to wear a mask at all times except within the confines of your locker room. Athletes on the active roster are required to wear masks in all areas except the playing area and locker room.
- Coaches are required to wear masks at all times except within the confines of the locker room.
- Officials are required to submit a COVID screening questionnaire prior to noon on the day of the game: https://txwes.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3F1hISZxGAvsVLf.  Â
- Officials are required to submit to a temperature check within 2 hours of the start of the contest. The game administrator will conduct temperature checks for officials.
GAME DAY STAFF
- All game day staff (score keepers, stat crew, music/game production crew, ticket takers, game administrators, concession workers, security) are required to submit a COVID screening questionnaire on the Texas Wesleyan return to campus website: https://txwes.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3F1hISZxGAvsVLf.
- All game day staff are required to submit to a temperature check within 2 hours of the start of the contest. The game administrator will conduct the temperature checks.
- All game day staff are required to wear masks.
SPIRIT SQUADS AND BANDS
- Spirit squads and bands are not allowed to perform at indoor venues.
- Spirit squads and bands will be allowed at outdoor venues but must adhere to social distancing guidelines and must wear masks when not performing.
