UPDATED: COVID-19 protocols

These updates are current as of: 3/10/2021

Texas Wesleyan University Athletic Director Ricky Dotson has announced updated COVID-19 protocols for home contests for the beginning of 2021. The update reflects changes in indoor events, as well as new guidelines for student-athletes.

All indoor events at Texas Wesleyan will be closed to spectators until further notice. However, Texas Wesleyan is pleased to offer live coverage of team sports home events through our streaming platform partner, BlueFrame Technology, for free.

Per Sooner Athletic Conference mandate, all coaches, student-athletes and personnel not on the court during competition are required to wear a mask or face shield on the sideline.

Additionally, all members of pregame meetings must wear a mask and/or maintain a distance of at least six feet apart. All game day personnel, staff and volunteers must also wear a mask and social distance to the extent possible.

Complete guidelines are listed below (new updates in bold) and are also available on our Return to Athletics updates page.
