SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. — The Texas Wesleyan Volleyball team continued their road slate with a 3-1 (25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21) win at John Brown on Friday night.

The win snapped a four-game streak by the JBU Golden Eagles who are now 11-10 overall and 5-4 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Meanwhile, TXWES moves to 11-5 and 8-2 in the league.

Arianna Alvarado led the Lady Rams with 13 kills, and
Morgan Burns contributed 34 assists.

Earning her fourth double-double of the season was
Nyia Anderson with 11 kills and 11 digs.
Veronika Webb rounded out the double-digit attack with 10 kills on a .529 hitting percentage.

Ashley Curry recorded a season high 5 aces, nearly hitting her career best 6 she tallied against Langston in 2019.

Bailey Foy knocked down 4 of TXWES' 7 total blocks, and both
Skylar Warde and
Andrea Malek finished with 12 digs.

The Lady Rams will travel to Oklahoma City on Oct. 8 to face the defending SAC Champions, the Oklahoma City Stars.
